Foo Fighters Name New Album

This is just a short update from yesterday's post, but according to NME.com, the Foo Fighters have officially named their 7th studio album Wasting Light.

NME also lists the tracklisting for the new disc, which comes out April 12. You can find it below.

"Bridge Burning"
"Rope"
"Dear Rosemary"
"White Limo"
"Arlandria"
"These Days"
"Back & Forth"
"A Matter of Time"
"Miss The Misery"
"I Should Have Known"
"Walk"

April 12 just seems too far away right now. We should be getting another sample of it soon, though. Alan Cross of ExploreMusic posted on his Twitter today that the first official single, "Rope," will be released March 1.

For some reason I'm excited to hear the song "Arlandria." I think that has a really cool title.

  1. Another Foo fun fact: "The sun is on Arlandria" is a lyric from the song "Headwires." I think it either refers to a city in Virginia, or is a combination of the cities Arlington and Alexandria. I read this somewhere sometime. So, naturally my source is credible.
